Strawberry-Pineapple Fruit Leather | Commercial Dehydrators

These homemade fruit leathers are so refreshing and delicious; you will never go back to the store-bought variety. Remember to use the fruit leather sheets that come with your dehydrator when preparing fruit leathers.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups washed, cored and roughly chopped strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. pineapple juice
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions
  1. Puree strawberries with honey and pineapple juice. Add applesauce to mixture and puree again.
  2. Spray the fruit leather sheet of your dehydrator with cooking spray.
  3. Pour the pureed fruit mixture onto the tray set in the bottom of your dehydrator.
  4. Dehydrate at 140°F (60°C) for up to 8 hours. When done, cool for several minutes before rolling into cylinders.
