Sweet Caramel Apples | Commercial Dehydrators

Here is a delicious and healthy way to recreate a childhood favorite: caramel apples! They are sweet, crunchy and tart and require just 2 ingredients and a few minutes to prepare.

  • 3-4 Granny Smith apples
  • 1/2cup store-bought caramel sauce

Instructions
  1. Slice the apple into thin rounds, between 1/8-1/4 inch (3-6 mm) thick. Peels can be removed or left intact. Remove core and seeds.
  2. Use a pastry brush to spread a small amount of caramel onto each apple round.
  3. Arrange in a single line in your dehydrator and set temperature to 135°F (57°C). Allow apples to dehydrate for 10-12 hours.
