Dehydrated Cabbage | Commercial Dehydrators

Dehydrated cabbage is a good alternative to fresh cabbage, where you can save money and food waste. Dehydrated cabbage will last for years without any preservatives, and you can use it as a base for casseroles, or as an addition to soups or stews

Instructions
  1. Strip off the outer leaves from each cabbage.
  2. Shred with a food processor or knife into thin strips (about 1/8" or 3 mm).
  3. Arrange on dehydrating trays (they can be close together).
  4. Dehydrate at 135°F (57°C) for about 8 to 15 hours.
  5. Let cool then store in a covered container.
