Blueberry Nut Bars | Commercial Dehydrators

These healthy, portable breakfast bars can be made with dozens of different ingredient combinations. Try substituting strawberries, cherries, raspberries, apples or peaches for the blueberries or try a combination of these fruits.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2cup almond meal
  • 3 cups blueberries

Instructions
  1. In a food processor, grind pecan and walnuts. Pour into a bowl.
  2. Place blueberries in food processor and add ground almonds and a little water.
  3. Mix together blueberries and ground nuts.
  4. Spread mixture onto dehydrator tray and spread it up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick. Dehydrate for 10 hours at 140°F (60°C), then flip bars over and dehydrate another 10 hours. When ready, cut into 18-20 bars.
