Sweet Potato- Cinnamon Leather | Commercial Dehydrators

This simple recipe has only three ingredients and no added sweeteners. Sweet potatoes, which are loaded with Vitamins C and B, potassium, iron and fiber, are considered a superfood. These fruit leathers are a great way to sneak vegetables into your familys diet.

  • 3 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/2tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C) and place sweet potatoes in a baking dish. Cover and bake 35-45 minutes, or until soft.
  2. Peel skins and put potatoes in food processor with cinnamon and ginger. Puree until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture onto dehydrator trays and spread to 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness. Dehydrate at 135°F (57°C) for 8-10 hours.
