Dry Cure Beef Jerky | Commercial Dehydrators

Beef makes a great base for jerky as it absorbs so much delicious flavor. This dry cure beef is an easy on the go snack that will pack a punch with the spices of both the cayenne and the chili powder sure to give this jerky a nice kick.

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp powdered chili
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp powdered garlic
  • 2 pounds (900g) sliced lean beef

Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl; rub mixed ingredients into the meat and really work it in. Cover bowl and marinate overnight.
  2. Place on the dehydrator trays and dry at 155°F (68°C) for 8 to 12 hours.
