Dehydrated Turnips | Commercial Dehydrators

This Dehydrated Turnip recipe is so simple and cheap to make. Just a few simple ingredients sprinkled on top will make these chips your favorite snack this season.

Instructions
  1. Wash turnips, cut off the ends then peel.
  2. ��Slice into about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick slices with a knife or mandolin.
  3. Blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes. Cool immediately in ice water then drain.
  4. Arrange the slices on dehydrator trays in a single layer.
  5. Dehydrate at 125°F (52°C) for 12 hours, or until brittle and can bend a little.
