Dehydrated Okra | Commercial Dehydrators

Drying okra is an extremely simple process and produces a crispy, crunchy, low-calorie snack that can be eaten plain or with dip. It's also a great addition to soups and gumbos.

Instructions
  1. Wash okra pods, cut off the ends then slice into rounds.
  2. Arrange on dehydrator trays in a single layer.
  3. Dehydrate at 135°F (57°C) for about 15 to 24 hours.
  4. Let cool then store in an airtight container. Can be kept for up to one year in a cool, dry and dark place.
