Dehydrated Banana Slices | Commercial Dehydrators

These dehydrated banana chips taste like candy! Dried banana chips are an addictive gluten-free, vegan snack that is low in sugar and high in potassium. Perfect when you're on the go or looking for a healthy sweet treat. They're also the perfect addition to your child's lunchbox.

  • Bananas
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix together equal amounts of lemon juice and water.
  2. Peel the bananas and slice into 1/4-inch slices.
  3. Soak the slices in the lemon juice solution for about 10 minutes. This is to prevent them from turning brown.
  4. Drain the banana slices for about 10 minutes then arrange in a single layer on the dehydrator trays.
  5. Dehydrate at  130°F (55°C) for 6 - 10 hours.
  6. Let cool then store in a resealable bag or jar.
