Dehydrated Acorn Squash | Commercial Dehydrators

This Dehydrated acorn squash is a delicious, sweet-tasting fruit that is low in calories and fat. It contains no saturated fat or cholesterol so you can enjoy it as part of a healthy meal or snack all year round.

Instructions
  1. Wash the acorn squash, cut it into half and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Place in a baking sheet and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (177°C). Remove and set aside to cool.
  3. Once cool, remove the skin then cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch squares.
  4. Arrange on dehydrator trays in a single layer.
  5. Dehydrate at 125°F (52°C) for about 7-10 hours.
  6. Let cool then store in an airtight container.
